Our Story

Blue Anchor Charters was established in 2015, originally operating as a day charter company based out of Compass Point Marina in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. Unfortunately, we lost our boat "Trek" in 2017 when Hurricanes Irma and Maria slammed into the islands. Instead of our business succumbing to the fate of our boat, like many others, we decided it was time to revitalize, rebrand and relaunch our family company into something greater, something we had always envisioned for Blue Anchor. We had a choice - to give up and hang up the shingle, along with the Blue Anchor name or turn lemons into lemonade. Well, we do live in the islands, after all, and lemons are precious, so of course we decided to make lemonade! Now, we are no longer limited to telling you about how much fun you can have in just one day visiting the BVI, but we get to tell you how much you can do and see in one week (or longer)! Now we have the opportunity to continue to share our passion for the water and love of these islands with people on a much more intimate level. Now, we are the matchmakers to your dream vacation!
